Gift Guide for Adventure Seekers

These affordable gifts are perfect for your friends who love to explore!  Your free-spirited pals are happiest when on the move and you can’t keep track of where they are in the world. The pandemic hasn’t stopped them from getting out and discovering new places in their hometowns and they try to spend as much time outdoors as possible.  They want things to help them plan, capture, and enhance all their adventures big and small.

Disposable Cameras
Fujifilm disposable cameras are lightweight and are perfect for capturing any trip!  It’s so fun to get them developed and they have that desired film photo aesthetic. This comes in a 2-pack.

Bamboo Charcoal Toothbrushes
I’m guilty of forgetting my toothbrush when packing for a trip.  It’s good to just keep a pack in your backpack at all times or in a pocket in your suitcase so you know you have them.  These toothbrushes handles are biodegradable and are numbered so you don’t get them mixed up. The activated charcoal nylon bristles act as a natural teeth whitener and are BPA free!

Decorative Globe
This globe would look great on any bookshelf or office desk and would be great for planning spontaneous adventures. Spin the globe, close your eyes, put your finger on a place, and book a trip!

Smartphone Tripod
The Joby GorillaPods are fantastic, I have a bigger version for my camera. This little tripod is great for taking selfies with your phone, or taking that group pic when you’re the only ones on top of a mountain!  These also make filming easier while you walk or hike.

MunchPak Subscription
While travel plans might be on hold, we can still travel through food. MunchPak is a snack subscription that delivers boxes of international snacks to your door!  Each box comes with a little booklet explaining which countries the snacks are from. My roommates gave me a subscription for my birthday this year, and it was super exciting to open the box and try 5 new treats every month!

Portable Hammock
I love the idea of laying in a hammock and reading a book or taking a nap. This hammock is super light and fits in a backpack.  It’s easy to set up and comes in a variety of colors!

Hydro Flask
Staying hydrated is key on any adventure! I love my Hydro Flasks because they really do keep cold water cold all day.  There are a ton of different colors on the website. The wide-mouth ones are super easy to clean and the 32oz size is good for day trips.

Patagonia Beanie
This beanie will keep your head warm in snowy forests or during chilly winter days in the desert. It comes in six patterns and is made with 100% recycled polyester fleece!

Headlamp
Whether you’re camping overnight or climbing down a mountain after a sunset hike, these headlamps will light the way. This 2-pack is water resistant and has seven lighting modes.

100 Parks, 5,000 Ideas book
Domestic travel might be the way to go for the foreseeable future. This National Geographic book has gorgeous nature photography and covers national, state, and city parks in the US and Canada. It includes recommendations from experts for when to go and what to see and do. Road trip? Road trip.

Slim Fanny Pack
When on a day trip, you don’t need to carry around a big backpack, sometimes you just want to carry your phone, keys, wallet, and a granola bar.  This fanny pack will fit all of those and more! It’s also water-resistant and has a hidden zippered pocket on the inside. I have a similar one and like to wear it during shorter hikes or walks by the beach.

Atlas Coffee Club Subscription
Sunrise hikes require caffeine! You pick the frequency of shipments, roast preference,  and grind type, and coffee from around the world will be shipped to your door!

Airbnb Gift Card
I’m not a huge advocate of giving gift cards, but lodging is one of the larger costs while traveling.  Airbnb credit is a great way to fund your friends’ adventures without needing specific travel dates or information.
