Welcome to Lively by Laura! Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I’m Laura Claypool, a 26-year-old blogger and photographer passionate about adventuring and artisanal ice cream. I grew up under the grey skies and evergreen trees of Seattle but chased the sun and avocado toast to Southern California for college. In 2018, I graduated from Chapman University, and now I currently work at an advertising agency in Los Angeles.
With a background in journalism, I always find myself thinking, what’s new, what’s now? Lively by Laura is a platform where I aspire to inspire my readers to keep discovering, whether that’s a new city or a new restaurant.
In my spare time, you can find me hiking up mountains, photographing golden hour at the beach, or eating brunch with friends. These are the moments I feel most alive, and I love sharing them with y’all!
