Small Biz Gift Guide: Home Edition

Here are fun home products from small businesses that would make great additions to any home or apartment! I love finding new products to give people, and this gift guide mostly features small businesses that I’ve discovered from social media ads or influencers. I’ve looked through all their websites and selected two products from each brand that I would buy for myself, friends, or family. As of publishing, all individual products are $60 or below, but definitely explore the company websites and check for special holiday bundles and sales!

Tresor | storetresor.com | @store_tresor
Tresor was founded by a French woman named Claire who now lives in Australia, and she makes these beautiful handmade homewares. Also, $1 from every purchase is donated to cancer research. This golden hour tray would be a great gift and could be used to hold so many things in your bedroom or bathroom. This ring holder would be great to store rings, earrings, and bracelets.

Open Spaces | getopenspaces.com | @getopenspaces
Open Spaces is a storage solutions company that designs sustainable pieces that help you live a more organized, intentional life. These small storage bins come in sets of 2 and they could be used for literally anything. They come with wooden or plastic slides and are functional and would add to any kitchen or bathroom aesthetic.

Still Novel | stillnovel.com | @stillnovel
Tiffany Peña and Edyn Elliott-Barber were new moms and wanted to create a better photo book, so they founded Still Novel. They specialize in large format prints mixing photography and design to commemorate your most cherished events, like the birth of a child. The Wedding Art Print would make an amazing gift to a newlywed couple and the Travel Art Print would be an amazing way to remember a special trip.

W&P Design | wandpdesign.com | @wandpdesign
This company was started by two college friends, Josh Williams and Eric Prum, and they make modern, functional kitchen products that eliminate the need for single-use plastics. If your fridge doesn’t have an ice machine, the Everyday Ice Tray makes 12 square ice cubes and has a lid so you can place items on top of them. I love that they offer fun speckled patterns. If you need more ice, try The Ice Box which holds 96 ice cubes. If you’re trying to stop using disposable plastic bags, check out the different sizes of Porter Bags made of silicone that are dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe. They have normal flat bags and bags that stand up on their own for easy shelf storage.

Moonpenny | moonpennyshop.com | @moonpennyshop
Moonpenny is a women-owned boutique in Lake Chelan, WA that sells a variety of products from clothes to homeware, but what stood out to me is the glassware! They have all sorts of colors for wine glasses and more. I don’t even drink, but if I did, I’d love this Mint Stemless Wine Glass.

Promptly Journals | promptlyjournals.com | @promptlyjournals
This company was started by two moms who wanted to make journaling as effortless as possible and help improve mental health. They offer so many different kinds of journals like memory journals, connection journals, self-care journals, and healing journals to help you get through any phase in your life. The Gratitude Journals have 365 prompts to increase your positivity. The Autobiography Journal is for anyone who wants to record their life story and has sections and prompts for birth, childhood, teenage, young adult, adult, and golden years. Honestly, I think it would be great to give it to a grandparent or parent and have them fill it out.

Eden’s Garden | edensgarden.com | @edensgardenoils
This is a women-founded and faith-based company that wanted to create high-quality essential oils. Eden’s Garden has since expanded and now creates other home goods as well. There are a ton of different oils and sets to choose from, so definitely peruse them all, but I think this Energy & Focus Essential Oil Set would be great in the times of work from home. They sell full-size diffusers, but this Aromaride Car Oil Diffuser would be great for anyone who wants to keep their car smelling nice or soothe anxious drivers.

Ordinary Habit | ordinaryhabit.com/ | @ordinaryhabit
Ordinary Habit was founded by a mother and daughter who want to cultivate mindfulness with their products. They have a bunch of beautiful puzzles, this Jardin d’Hiver 1000-piece puzzle is super cute and aesthetic. They also have 100-piece puzzles for on-the-go, like this A Table In Summer on-the-go puzzle.

Caraway | carawayhome.com | @caraway_home
Caraway Home makes modern home goods designed to reinvent your kitchen without toxins. The 10×15” Medium Baking Sheet comes in five colors and uses a non-stick mineral-based coating that makes it super easy to clean.  Pair it with this set of 100% cotton Oven Mitts that are stain-resistant and safe to use in the washing machine and dryer.

Overose | overose.com | @overose
Overose makes beautiful pink and purple vegan candles with burn time of up to 60 hours. This Croissant candle will bring you back to a cafe near the Seine and  Euphoriasme will bring you back to Paris in the spring with light floral notes.

BEEN THERE DONE THAT | beentheredonethat.shop | @bnthr_dntht
BEEN THERE DONE THAT makes interactive scratch-off posters to enable you to pursue your passions from books, to films, to cooking.  This one for 100 Greatest Musicals is great for your theater-loving friend or for your friend who just moved to New York.  The 50 Spectacular US National Parks would be a fun way to keep track of wilderness adventures!
