Prime Day 2023: Some of My Favorite Products + Wish List

Prime Day is coming up on July 11-12, and it has some of the best deals of the year! Be sure to shop around at all the different stores that will be having sales during this time to get the best deal!

Full disclosure, I currently work for an advertising agency that works for Amazon, but they are not paying me to blog about this. I’ve been an Amazon Prime Member since college and I grew up in Seattle, so Amazon has just been part of my life for years.

AMAZON PRODUCTS I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Milk Frother/Warmer
I love a chai latte, but it’s not what gets me out of bed and I just can’t rationalize spending $5 a day on coffee/tea. I have been loving making chai lattes and hot chocolate at home with this 4-in-1 milk frother/milk warmer! I can’t speak for the frothing capabilities, but this lets you warm 8oz of milk at a time and it only takes 3 minutes and it’s hot, but not too hot. Big fan, would recommend.

The Five-Minute Journal
They say daily gratitude rewires your brain and I believe it!! The Five Minute Journal is part of my 2023 new year’s resolutions, and I think everyone would really benefit from having one. I’ve already gifted two of these to friends this year! It comes in several colors to fit your aesthetic. I believe in this brand (Intelligent Change), but if you want a cheaper option, there are several copycat products like this one.

Docking Station
This was life-changing. I work from home and have a second monitor, a mouse, and a keyboard to plug in. When I want to unplug my laptop and sit on my couch to work, I only have one cord to deal with! I also use it for my own laptop when I want a second monitor and it also has an SD card slot so I can put my camera memory cards into it.

Blue Light-Blocking iPhone Screen Protector
I spend way too much time on my phone, so I decided to look for a blue light-blocking screen protector. This one blocks about 50% of blue light, is for the most part fingerprint-proof, and easy to install (I did it and there’s no air bubbles!). My eyes don’t hurt after scrolling through social media, so I’d say it’s a win.

Comfortable Yoga Set
I love this set! I have the light blue one, as pictured above, but I think I’ll actually buy the black or grey one this year.  The material is super comfortable, and there’s enough compression in the stomach area. The pants are very high-waisted, so when you wear the top and the leggings together, you don’t show that much skin, and the pants are long enough for my disproportionately long legs.

Magnetic Necklace Layering Clasp
If you’re into the necklace layering trend like I am (it’s the easiest way to look more dressed up for me), then you need this clasp. You attach your necklaces to this clasp and then it’s magnetic so you can take your necklaces on and off super easy. This clasp comes in different colors (silver, rose gold) and you can get a clasp that works with 3 necklaces.

Patterned Ceramic White Bowls
These soup/cereal bowls are really cute and look expensive. I use them for my smoothie and yogurt bowls and they make me feel like I’m an adult. I got the 6-inch set, but if you’re looking for smaller bowls for dips or sides, they also have a 4.5-inch set.

Silicone Muffin Pans
I have used these muffin pans more than I thought. I have used them for banana bread, blueberry muffins, egg bites, and yogurt bites. The food does really just pop out of the compartments and they’re super easy to clean. They are silicone so they’re soft and flexible, so I usually put them on top of a metal baking sheet so nothing spills out when putting them into the oven.

Motion Sensor Night Light
My roommate makes fun of how much I love these, but I know he loves them too. We put one in the living area so when we come home at night and it’s dark, the light turn on and we don’t bump into the couch. I also have one in my bathroom, which is great for when I don’t want to turn on the overhead light and fan in the middle of the night. There are 3 brightness settings and I just could not recommend these more.

Memory Foam Neck Support Pillow
I suck at sleeping (if you do too, read this blog post with my sleep products & tips), and this has made a huge difference! The neck support feels weird at first, but after a week, it feels so good and I have a hard time sleeping on regular pillows now. This one you do have to let air out for a bit, but the cover is also washable. The annoying part is that the pillow runs small and does not fill out a normal sized pillow case, but I don’t even care.

Plush Beckham Hotel Pillows
If you’re not into the weird-shaped neck support pillows or want supportive decorative pillows for your bed, these are super nice! I don’t know where the Beckham hotel is, but I’m a big fan of these pillows, they actually completely fill out a queen-sized pillow case (king size also available). At $60+, I’d definitely wait for these to go on sale! I bought them for $30 when I was moving into my apartment last year.

Reusable Cotton Mesh Produce Bags
I use these produce bags every time I go to the grocery store and have greatly reduced my plastic bag use!  I also bring them to farmer’s markets.  This set came with 12 bags, but I typically only buy 5-6 produce items that require bags, so I gave half of them to my mom (you could share with a roommate/friend!).

6 Pack of Grip Socks
I have been loving doing barre and pilates classes through ClassPass (read my review of the 2-week free trial), and most studios require grip socks so you don’t slip on the floor or the reformers. I have also been wearing them for hot yoga sculpt classes because the first time I didn’t, I got blisters on my feet, which was not fun.  Studios sell individual pairs of socks for $10-$20, so I would definitely recommend getting a pack on Amazon or literally anywhere else! Friends don’t let friends pay $15 for one pair of socks at PureBarre.

MY 2023 PRIME DAY WISH LIST

Travel Mug
As mentioned above, I’ve been making chai lattes at home and I don’t have a big enough mug. I have a Mira water bottle, so I thought I’d get this 16 oz travel mug.

Cordless Vacuum
I’ve reached that age in life where you just want a really nice vacuum. I cannot rationalize a Dyson at the moment, so Amazon it is. This one looks like a good option, but I am not attached, so if I find a better deal, I’ll probably buy a cheaper one.

Clarifying Shampoo
My hair has been feeling a little sticky lately even though I spend so much time rinsing it in the shower. This Paul Mitchell clarifying shampoo has good reviews, so I’ll probably buy it on Prime Day and will check if it’s cheaper at Target or another store.

Reusable Silicone Straws
I need to drink more water, but the Stanley cups and Hydroflasks with the straws just look too hard to wash. These ones are silicone so you don’t hurt your teeth on them and they open so you can scrub the inside. These silicone straws have been on my “Save for Later” list for years and I think I will finally buy them.

The Comfy Yoga Set
I’m going to enough workout classes that I can justify buying more workout clothes. As mentioned above, I love this set, so I’m going to get another one in a different color.

Running Shorts with Pockets
I just decided to run another half marathon! I have a pair of black shorts but they don’t have a pocket for my keys, so I want to get a new pair.  Also all of my running shorts are from high school.

Tofu Press
I am trying to eat less meat and got an air fryer, so I want to try to make more meals with tofu. Tofu often requires you to remove all the water that it comes in with the package to better absorb and sauces or seasonings, so I want to get a tofu press.  I don’t know why these contraptions seem so intricate and are like $20, but this one has good reviews and I hope it goes on sale.

Brita Filter Replacements
I live in LA, which is not known for great tap water, so we always need filters for our Brita.

Levoit Air Purifier Filter Replacements
I just bought this cute little Levoit air purifier for my room a few weeks ago and although you only need to replace the filter 1-2 times a year so I have a while, I feel like Prime Day would be a good time to get a deal on the filter replacements.
