November 2020 Podcast Picks

A lot of people recommend podcast shows, but I never know which episodes to listen to, so I’ve started to make monthly playlists with my favorite individual podcast episodes! In no particular order, here are my top podcast episodes I listened to in November.

This month, I’m highlighting a new favorite podcast, Snacks Daily.  I included one episode in my October Podcast Picks, and it’s become one of my favorite podcasts, so I wanted to feature it this month.

First off, can we talk about the song?? They have an intro/theme song which is basically their disclosure on how the podcast isn’t intended to provide stock advice, but it’s super catchy. “Robinhood Financial, LLC, member FINRA/SIPC,” if you know, you know.

Snacks Daily releases daily 15-20 minute episodes Monday through Friday that cover three stories in business news.  The stories are based on what they see happening in the stock market, but the hosts don’t use too much business jargon.  They explain what’s going on with the business that made the stock go up or down, and it’s things that affect everyday consumers, like Spotify and Netflix price hikes. I enjoy the light-hearted banter between the hosts and find the information they provide digestible yet thorough.  If you’re looking to learn something new or keep up with current events, but also be entertained, then definitely check out this podcast!

I’ve included some of my favorite episodes from November in the playlist below that cover Beyoncé’s Peloton deal (“Crazy in Love (on a Bike)“), plant-based meat at McDonald’s (“Ronald McVegan“), and P&G’s diaper problem (“We’re in a Baby Bust“).
