UC Irvine Senior Pics with Brooke

I didn’t think I would have more college shoots this year, but I was so excited to take Brooke’s UC Irvine senior pics. I had taken senior photos for my friend Jessie at Chapman in 2019 and met her sister Brooke at the shoot. Brook graduated from undergrad this year and it came full circle!

I drove to Orange County and met up with Brooke, Jessie, and their mom at Brooke’s apartment. Then, we drove to one part of campus with the anteater statue and across from a UCI water tower.

The center area of the campus is a large green grassy park. There is a nice paved path and a bunch of buildings were built around it. Many people take UC Irvine senior pics by some pink flowers, but we also found some purple flowers that apparently are not a popular grad pic spot but they absolutely should be! There’s also a large tree in the park and we took some cute pics with her anteater stuffed animal.

They had some trees that reminded me of the rainbow eucalyptus trees in Hawaii and we took some cap-throwing pics there. Brooke had all the fun props so we got photos of her lei and her UCI shot glass as well!

Then, we went to these arches covered with greenery and took some champagne photos! After doing dozens of senior shoots, I’ve found that the best photos come from removing the cap pre-shaking, putting your thumb over the opening, then shaking the botttle and controlling the spray with your thumb. If you try to shake it and then take the cap off, it can get pretty messy.
