Loyola Law School Grad Pics with Tellis and Ashley

I wasn’t expecting to take any graduation photos this year since I don’t know any college seniors at Chapman. When Tellis (Chapman alum) reached out about taking her Loyola law school grad pics, of course, I said yes! This was a friend shoot, so I took photos for both her and her friend and classmate, Ashley.

I parked at Tellis’s apartment and then she drove me to Loyola Law School in downtown LA. The campus was even smaller than Chapman, but there were some great photo spots! We got started shooting until Ashley got there.

Then, the craziest thing happened! Out of nowhere, a green parakeet flew onto Tellis’s grad cap while it was on her head. It was flying around and would not leave us alone. In that moment, I learned I was afraid of parakeets.

There was another group taking senior photos and it finally flew over to them after a while and let me do my job in peace. We got on to the rest of the shoot and got some great shots!
